Superintendent, Maine Indian Education

Dr. Reza Namin

Dr. Reza Namin is the superintendent of Maine Indian Education. An Iranian-American who came up in classrooms where someone else decided what counted as knowledge, he builds schools on three Rs: rigor, relevancy, and relationship. He pairs frequent classroom observation with a deliberate, system-wide AI policy meant to keep technology in service of teachers seeing children more clearly.
